First Home Buyers

There’s a lot of jargon that comes with entering the housing market. We’ll cut through and provide you with prompt, easy-to-understand, advice to help you navigate the purchase of your first home.

We will help you draft conditions before you make your offer, and then review everything to ensure your contract (and the property you’re buying) is free from any fishhooks. We’ll work with your lender and/or broker, Kainga Ora and your Kiwisaver provider to ensure that the funds you need are available and withdrawn in time.

We’ll be responsive to your enquiries and clear with you about deadlines and your obligations, and we’ll do all this for a fixed fee so there are no surprises.

This means that you can focus on the really important things - like finding the perfect first home.

First Home Fees

Our fees for residential conveyancing are as follows. The prices below exclude GST and disbursements.

  • Purchase: $1,500.00.

  • Pre-offer review of documents: $250.00.

  • Kiwisaver withdrawal: $100.00 per application.

  • HomeStart Grant: $100.00 per application.

Buying, Selling & Refinancing

As a residential property buyer or investor, you already have a good understanding of the property market, the negotiation process and due diligence. What you’re looking for are solicitors who know their stuff, and will get the job of conveyancing done for you without fuss or error.

We’ll give you prompt, easy-to-understand, advice to help you achieve your property goals. We’ll be available to discuss matters with you by phone, email or Skype. If you prefer to keep things traditional, naturally we’re also happy meet with you in person.

​It goes without saying that we’ll work with your lender and/or broker to get the necessary paperwork in order, and we’ll send you clear reporting statements once your transaction is complete. And we’ll do it all for a competitive fixed fee so there are no surprises.
